The water value of the upper reaches of the Yangtz

  • Detail

Rebuild Two Three Gorges: the water value in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River the surging Jinsha River is rewriting the history of hydropower in China. Four large-scale hydropower stations, Wudongde, Baihetan, Xiluodu and Xiangjiaba, will be built in the downstream from west to East, with a total power generation of more than twice that of the Three Gorges power station

China has 676million kW of river water energy resources and 378million kW of exploitable installed capacity, both ranking first in the world. 70% of this comes from the southwest, that is, the upper reaches of the Yangtze River

how can financial management correctly choose the after-sales service of manufacturers? The weekly newspaper once reminded investors to pay attention to "the value change of the fluctuation of the water level of the Yangtze River". This time, it will take you to understand the great value of hydropower development in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River

Jinsha River hydropower can meet 6% of the country's electricity demand

mentioned China's hydropower development, the focus of attention in the past was mostly concentrated in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. "The Three Gorges power station has 19 units put into operation, with a total installed capacity of 13.4 million KW." Zhangshuguang, deputy chief engineer of the Three Gorges Corporation, said, "when all 32 units operate at the same time, the power generation capacity will reach 22.5 million KW, which can be called the hydropower station with the strongest power generation capacity in the world."

however, the total generating capacity of the four large hydropower stations, Wudongde, Baihetan, Xiluodu and Xiangjiaba, which will be built on the Jinsha River, will be more than twice that of the Three Gorges hydropower station

Jinsha River is the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, with a total length of 3364 kilometers and hydropower reserves of 112.4 million KW, accounting for 1/6 of the total hydropower in China. At present, its exploitable hydropower resources are 88.91 million KW, making it the largest hydropower base with important strategic position in China. The lower reaches of the Jinsha River are the most important areas of hydropower distribution in China. The Nujiang River, Lancang River, Jinsha River, Yalong River and Dadu River from west to East form a Hydropower "important town" in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River

Xiluodu Hydropower Station, located on the main stream of Jinsha River in Leibo County, Sichuan Province and Yongshan County, Yunnan Province, has been successfully closed on November 7 this year. With a total installed capacity of 12.6 million KW, it will become the second largest hydropower station in China when emergency shutdown is required. It is worth noting that the normal pool level of the hydropower station is 600 meters, and the total reservoir capacity is 12.67 billion cubic meters, which is less affected by the fluctuation of the water level of the Yangtze River

Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station, the most downstream of Jinsha River water elevator stage development, has a design installed capacity of 6million kW. It is planned that the first batch of units will generate electricity in 2012 and the project will be completed in 2015. The total installed capacity of Xiluodu and Xiangjiaba hydropower stations is 18.6 million KW, with an average annual power generation of 87.3 billion kwh, which will be mainly exported to eastern and central China

in addition, the developer of these two hydropower stations, the parent company of Yangtze Power (love stock, market, information) (), decided to develop Wudongde and Baihetan Hydropower Stations on the Jinsha River as a group at the same time. It is expected to start construction in 2010, and the total annual power generation is expected to be nearly 90billion kwh

by the end of 2006, the installed power generation capacity in China had reached 622 million KW. If the sealing volume of the oil pump in the tension test was connected with different oil suction chambers within a certain instant, of which the hydropower was 128.57 million KW, accounting for about 20.67% of the total capacity. According to the data of China Electricity Council, the electricity consumption of the whole society in 2006 was 2936.8 billion kwh. In other words, after the four large hydropower stations on the Jinsha River are completed and put into operation, the annual average power generation of 174.4 billion kwh will meet nearly 6% of China's electricity demand every year

this is only the prelude to the deep development of hydropower resources in China

environmental protection and cost advantages make hydropower upstart

in addition to the Yangtze River, Yantan and Longtan in the upper reaches of the Yellow River and the Hongshui River Basin in Guangxi are rich in hydropower. By 2020, the country plans to develop 300million kW of hydropower. In the context of rising electricity and coal prices, the image of the newly rich in the hydropower industry has become increasingly prominent

since 2000, the proportion of hydropower has been on the rise, and the installed capacity of hydropower is expected to reach 30% of the total installed capacity of electricity by 2010. According to the power planning indicators, the installed hydropower capacity should reach 150million kW by then. This means that from 2000 to 2010, the newly built hydropower installed capacity will reach 54million kW. Before 2020, the compound growth rate of China's hydropower installed capacity will remain above 5.98%

the data on the proportion of hydropower and thermal power in China's six major power plants confirm the above trend. According to the statistics of State Grid, at the end of 2006, the national unified installed capacity was 435.867 million KW, and the installed capacity of hydropower was 75.4035 million KW, accounting for about 17%. Among them, the central China branch of Sichuan electric power and Hubei electric power has developed rapidly: at the end of 2006, the installed capacity of hydropower was 28.24 million KW, accounting for 31% of the total installed capacity. By adding wood flour, rice husk, straw and other waste plant fibers to mix into new wood materials

since the main power transmission areas in Central China of Hubei power are North China, East China, Guangdong and other places, the northeast, North China and Shanghai in East China, which currently use less hydropower, can use more hydropower

yuan Xiaomei, an energy industry analyst at Orient Securities, said that compared with other renewable energy sources, hydropower has the characteristics of low cost, large scale and strong regulation; Compared with thermal power, hydropower still has obvious advantages. "The power generation cost of small hydropower is equivalent to that of thermal power, and the power generation cost of large hydropower is about 50% of that of thermal power."

Yin Yifeng, an analyst at CSC, also said that the "energy saving power generation scheduling measures (Trial)" issued by the state this year stipulates that "thermal power generating units will arrange the power generation load according to the principle of slight increase rate such as power supply coal consumption", that is, power generation will be arranged from low to high coal consumption, low coal consumption units will be preferred, and high coal consumption units will be phased out. "Under the national regulation, the cost of thermal power will be restricted by environmental protection, and hydropower will be vigorously developed."

in terms of specific investment, Yuan Xiaomei recommends paying attention to listed companies with rich reserves of hydropower resources. Yangtze Power, which has three gorges power station and its parent company is the builder of Wudongde, Baihetan, Xiluodu and Xiangjiaba hydropower stations, has the best prospects. Zhang Shuai, an analyst of the power industry at Guojin securities, also pointed out that the extensive expansion, especially the overall listing, will be a major investment point of Changjiang Power

"the development potential of hydropower listed companies with 'rich financial resources' such as Guodian power (), Guotou power (), and Guiguan power () cannot be ignored." Zhang Shuai said
